Hi! My name is Raquel Simões and I am a Portuguese 2D Cleanup and Rough Animator and Illustrator currently living in Ireland but flexible to relocate within Europe and holding a Settlement Status in the United Kingdom.
I am an animation graduate from Middlesex University, UK.
My main focus is in 2D Rough and Cleanup Animation and Illustration but I have interest in other areas as well, like character designs and posing.

Recently, I was very fortunate to get a job working as a Junior Cleanup Animator for Cartoon Saloon. I have done an internship in 2023 and worked on some freelance projects doing rough and clean-up animations, colouring as well as illustrations and storyboarding.

My main softwares are TV Paint, Toonboom Harmony and Clip Studio Paint. However, I am confident in my adaptation to be able to learn new softwares and adapt to different art styles.
